Got called that the dishwasher was leaking. They found half of a gasket under it, which is on top of the right side of the dishwasher. We couldn't see where it came from as the leak wasn't from any pipe we could see under the dishwasher. They had turned off the hot water valve to the dishwasher and it continued to leak even though it appeared to have been drained. I mistakenly opened the hot water valve, then when I reclosed it, the leak stopped. We turned off the water valves on BOTH sides of the dishwasher.
