John Kessler has been selected as the assistant director/retail services for the K-State Student Union effective December 18, 2023.

Kessler graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, SC, with a Bachelor of Science in food and beverage management. His formal education, paired with his extensive industry background, equips him with a refined set of skills poised to elevate the retail services of the Union.

In his new role, Kessler will assume responsibility for overseeing all facets of the Union's retail operations including retail food service, catering, bowling and recreation strategies.

The Union’s mission is to serve all, especially students, with facilities that provide services, programs, leadership experiences and educational opportunities that foster a sense of well-being and belonging in an inclusive community.
