Another K-State school year is underway and we are excited about the opportunities the recently completed renovation project gives us to provide quality programs and services to the K-State community.

We do have some challenges ahead of us, and funding is at the forefront. The Friends of the K-State Student Union foundation is a wonderful opportunity for you whose life has been touched by experiences at your Student Union to participate in the continuation of its proud traditions. Many of you have put countless dedicated hours into the formulation of programs and policies that make your K-State Student Union what it is today.

GOALS: It is the goal of the Friends of the KSSU to provide additional funding for various projects that are in need of new creative sources of support. Leadership development, technological improvements to meeting rooms, updating our art collection, Union scholarships, and additional programming are just a few of the ideas that will benefit from an active Friends Program.

BENEFITS: In addition to the benefits listed, we will provide you with progress updates in the form of a quarterly newsletter. All Friends of the KSSU will also receive an invitation to the annual UPC/UGB Recognition Dinner held at the end of each spring semester.

We hope you will take time to reflect upon your years at K-State and the role your Student Union played. If you haven't seen what has been done to your Student Union, then stop by any time and see us. You're going to love it.
